Frequently Asked Questions

How many speakers should I install in my Home Theatre?

We will analyze your living space and help you to decide how many speakers should be installed, as well as the perfect placement.

While budget plays a large role in the final number of speakers installed, we can still achieve an incredible sounding home theatre installation that is budget friendly

What does Dolby Atmos mean?

Dolby Atmos is a surround sound format that allows the sound to feel more immersive. The addition of height channels and up-firing speakers creates a new “bigger” and more enveloping sound. This filmmakers to create sound tracks that incorporate overhead noises coming from a helicoper, airplane or anything else.

TV or Projector? Which one should I chose?

A good projector and screen combination can give TV’s a run for their money in terms of picture quality. If the room is large enough and dark enough, a Projector will give you better bang for your buck in terms of Size, as well as a more Cinema like experience. Paired with a good speakers it will feel like you’re at the movies!

If your are deciding between TV or Projector in a family room, a TV may be a better option. It will fit in the room without sticking out like a projector and screen might. TV’s up to 86″ are available without completely breaking the bank.

In a dedicated home theatre room we suggest a projector. The light in a home theatre room isn’t a problem like it would be in a family room with large windows. In many installs we have used a TV and a motorized screen that drops down in front of the TV, giving you the best of both worlds.
