HTSource installed a new Ubiquiti network and security camera system in my house. Although I am fairly technical, Arfin worked with me patiently on the design including hardware components, wifi AP placements, and camera placements. The install itself went extremely smoothly, and was completed in one day. They were very professional, organized, and tidy. And after a few weeks of usage, the whole system is working flawlessly! Wifi strength is fantastic in every corner of my house (and outside from an outdoor AP). The cameras are excellent too and is giving me a lot of peace of mind.HTSource was fantastic, thanks Arfin!PS: Ubiquiti is definitely more expensive commercial grade equipment, and requires more knowledge/administration, but if you heavily rely on internet access (WFH) it may be worth it. You can also expand the system over time, and camera recordings are local - no subscriptions!

I used Hamilton Tech Source for new PoE cameras (wired all around exterior of house). From the beginning when I first engaged them, Arfin was amazing to deal with. I thought I would drive him crazy with all my many, many questions but he was always quick to respond and provided everything I was looking for. The installation was so smooth. They are actually masters of being able to creatively fish/hide cable. The cameras they supplied are also excellent quality. I already have recommended them to neighbours (who based on seeing their work are interested in using their services) and I would recommend them to anyone else looking for a quality installation.

UniFi camera installation FAQs.
How much does UniFi camera installation cost?
Pricing depends on camera models, the number of cameras, cable routes and recording storage. Tell us about your property for a free quote covering your UniFi installation.
Does UniFi Protect require a monthly subscription?
Core UniFi Protect recording and remote access do not require a monthly licence. Your recordings are stored locally on compatible equipment. Optional services and your internet connection are separate.
Can you install UniFi equipment I already own?
Send us the camera, console and switch models. We can review compatibility, available PoE power and recording capacity before confirming the installation.
Do I need a separate UniFi NVR?
You need compatible equipment that runs UniFi Protect and suitable storage. A dedicated NVR is one option. We check whether your existing Protect-capable console is suitable or recommend a recorder for your camera count and storage needs.
Can I view cameras and recordings from my phone?
Yes. We configure the UniFi Protect app and remote access, then show you how to view live video and find recordings. Remote viewing needs a working internet connection.
Can I get alerts for people and vehicles?
Supported cameras can distinguish people and vehicles. We help configure detection zones and notifications around your property. Available detections depend on the camera model and system configuration.
Can I add more cameras later?
Yes, within the capacity of your recorder, storage and network. We can plan for future cameras and check PoE power and recording capacity before expanding.
Do you install UniFi cameras for businesses?
Yes. We install systems for offices, retail spaces, warehouses and other commercial properties, including cabling, camera mounting, recording setup and remote access.
Is the installation covered by a warranty?
Our supplied camera installations include a two-year warranty on cameras, the NVR and labour. We confirm the coverage for the equipment in your quote, including any equipment you already own.
