What’s included with our TV mounting service
Hamilton Tech Source has mounted thousands of TVs on all kinds of surfaces, including drywall, brick, concrete, tile and stone. We also install specialty displays such as Samsung The Frame TVs and LG Gallery TVs, with careful attention to alignment, mounting hardware and cable concealment.
We discuss your preferred TV height, viewing position, wall material and access to power and connected devices. We locate studs, install and level the bracket, secure the TV and check the finished alignment.
For larger TVs, we always arrive with two technicians to handle the installation safely. Hamilton Tech Source is insured.
We also help set up the TV, connect it to Wi-Fi and configure cable boxes, streaming devices and other connected equipment so everything is ready to use.
For brick, concrete, metal studs, fireplaces and feature walls, the mounting method depends on the actual structure. If a location is unsuitable, we'll explain your options before proceeding.

TV mount options explained
Different rooms need different mounts. We help you choose based on your TV, viewing angle, wall construction and how often you need access behind the screen.
Fixed TV mount
Fixed mounts keep the TV close to the wall, but we generally do not recommend them. Accessing HDMI inputs and connections behind the TV can be extremely difficult and may require taking the TV off the wall. For most installations, we recommend a tilting mount instead.
Tilting TV mount
Our usual recommendation for most TV installations. A tilting mount lets you adjust the screen angle and generally makes it easier to reach HDMI ports and other connections behind the TV compared with a fixed mount. It is also useful for higher placements and reducing glare.
Full-motion TV mount
Pull the TV away from the wall, swivel it toward different seating areas and adjust the angle. Useful for open-concept rooms, corners and easier cable access.
We'll confirm the right mount and mounting method for your particular TV and wall before installation.
98-inch and larger TV mounting
Installing a 98-inch, 100-inch or even larger TV takes careful planning, the right equipment and an experienced team. Hamilton Tech Source installs extra-large TVs for homes and businesses, and we always send two technicians for larger TV installations.
We can also supply specialty heavy-duty TV brackets designed for extra-large screens, including tilting and full-motion options where suitable. We generally recommend a tilting bracket over a fixed mount because accessing HDMI connections behind an extra-large TV can otherwise require removing the screen. We'll help select a bracket that fits your TV and mounting surface.
Whether it's a large living-room feature wall, a home theatre or a commercial display, we assess the wall, plan the positioning, mount and level the screen, then help connect Wi-Fi, cable boxes and streaming devices.
Popular 98-inch and 100-inch TVs: We can help plan installations for large-screen models such as the Samsung 100-inch M90H (UN100M90HFXZC), Samsung 98-inch U9000H (UN98U9000HFXZC), TCL 98-inch QM7L (98QM7L), and Hisense 100-inch QD8SF (100QD8SF). Bracket selection and mounting suitability are confirmed for each specific TV and wall.

Hamilton Tech Source provides residential and commercial TV mounting in Hamilton, Ancaster, Stoney Creek, Burlington and Oakville. We supply the correct mount, securely attach the TV and can help connect Wi-Fi, cable boxes and streaming devices.
How can I compare TV mounting companies in Hamilton?
Look at recent verified customer reviews, photos of completed installations, whether the company is insured, the types of walls it can work with and what the estimate includes. Hamilton Tech Source provides TV mounting for homes and businesses, including mount supply and optional wire concealment.
How much does TV mounting cost in Hamilton?
Installation starts at $140. Your quote depends on the TV, bracket, wall material and any optional services.
Can you mount a TV on brick or concrete?
Yes. We assess the wall and use appropriate mounting methods for the surface.
Can you hide the wires?
Yes. We offer cable-management options, including surface covers and suitable in-wall solutions.
Can you mount a TV above a fireplace?
Often, yes. We check the wall, heat exposure and viewing height before recommending placement.
What is the difference between fixed, tilting and full-motion TV mounts?
A fixed mount holds the TV close to the wall, but we generally do not recommend it because HDMI inputs and other rear connections can be very difficult to access without removing the TV. We recommend a tilting mount for most situations because it provides some adjustment and better access behind the screen. A full-motion mount extends and swivels for different viewing positions and easier access.
Do I need to buy a TV wall mount before booking?
Hamilton Tech Source will supply the correct TV mount for your installation, saving you the hassle of finding a compatible bracket yourself. We typically recommend a tilting mount for most installations, since fixed mounts can make HDMI inputs difficult to access without taking the TV down. We'll help you choose the right bracket for your TV and viewing needs. If you already have a mount, we can check whether it's suitable.
Can you install Samsung The Frame and LG Gallery TVs?
Yes. We mount Samsung The Frame and LG Gallery TVs, paying close attention to the correct mounting hardware, precise alignment and cable or connection-box placement for a clean, gallery-style finish. Tell us your model when requesting a quote.
How high should I mount my TV?
We generally mount the TV so that the bottom third of the screen is at eye level when you're seated. This gives most people a comfortable viewing position without having to look too far upward. We also consider your seating, TV size and room layout before confirming the final height. For higher placements, a tilting mount can help improve the viewing angle.
Can you mount a large 75-inch, 85-inch or 100-inch TV?
Large-screen installations may be possible when the wall, bracket, weight rating and access are suitable. Share your exact model and wall details so we can assess the job.
Can a TV be mounted on metal studs?
Yes. Hamilton Tech Source provides specialized toggle bolts that pass through metal studs to securely anchor the TV mount. We check the wall construction and use the appropriate hardware and installation method to ensure the TV is safely supported.
Can you mount a TV in a condo or apartment?
Often, yes. We check the wall material and mounting requirements. If your building has restrictions or approval requirements, please confirm them before booking.
Can you install a soundbar under the TV?
Yes. We can discuss soundbar mounting and cable-management options to keep the TV and audio setup looking tidy.
How long does a TV mounting installation take?
A standard TV mounting installation without hidden wires typically takes about 1 hour. If you'd also like the wires concealed, that usually adds another hour, for a total of approximately 2 hours. Installation times can vary depending on the wall and setup.
Will the wires be completely invisible?
That depends on the wall and your chosen concealment option. Surface covers keep cables tidy, while suitable in-wall solutions can provide a cleaner finish. We will explain what is practical and permitted for your setup.
Do you remove or remount an existing TV?
Tell us if you are replacing a TV, changing brackets or moving a screen to another wall. We can review the existing setup and provide an estimate for the work.
Where do you provide TV mounting?
We serve Hamilton, Ancaster, Stoney Creek, Burlington and Oakville.
